The Holzmarkt 25 is a cooperatively organized urban cultural quarter on the banks of the Spree in Berlin Friedrichshain. Around the central market square at the Holzmarkt there are small retail shops (e.g. bakery, café, general stores, wine shop), a day care center, a concert hall and much more. The Holzmarkt offers space for exhibitions, readings, artistry and numerous studios. There are workshops and music studios, the restaurant Katerschmaus, bars and the night club Kater Blau.
